Iced Tea with Orange (for 6 servings) Ingredients:
- 3 cups of pure spring water
- one orange (sliced into quarter-inch slices)
- 3 inch cinnamon sticks, broken
- six cloves
- 4 teabags (black tea)
- 1 glass of orange juice
- 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar (or to your liking)
- 12 wedges of orange
- 6 wedges of lime
- Skewers made of wood
- Cubes of ice
Method:
Bring the water, orange slices, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to a boil in a separate pot.Remove from the boil, add the black teabags, and brew for 5 minutes.Remove the tea bags and pour the tea mixture through a fine-mesh strainer.Remove the orange slices, cinnamon, and cloves from the mixture.Stir the tea mixture with fresh orange juice and sugar to taste until it melts.Refrigerate the mixture for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours.Serve the iced tea mixture in tall glasses filled with ice cubes.For each glass, skewer two orange wedges and one lime wedge.
